Roxanne moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Las Vegas in 2000 and became part of the founding faculty at the School.
In 2006, Roxanne pursued a career in higher education and served as the Assistant Dean in the School of Education at Nevada State College and later became the Director of Curriculum for the national organization, The New Teacher Project. Driven by a passion for working with children and impacting student learning, Roxanne returned to Dawson in 2012 to follow her passion for designing, implementing and ensuring personalized learning experiences for students. Recognizing that the future of education lies not only in student achievement but also in faculty development, Roxanne has devoted her career to instill instructors with the desire to use innovative teaching strategies that generate critical, analytic and creative thought. In her free time, Roxanne enjoys cheering on the winning football team - The Ohio State Buckeyes!
