Kelly McNamara is a founding Dawson faculty member with over 35 years in education. Kelly previously taught in Spain, the Czech Republic, Ecuador, the Netherlands, and the United States. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama. In 2003, she was awarded a Fulbright Cultural Exchange Scholarship to Japan where she studied the school systems. Kelly enjoys tennis, traveling and reading with a special fondness for historical fiction. Kelly is excited to return to her role as a librarian after many years teaching in lower and middle school classrooms. Kelly is excited “to share the joy of reading and learning with the Dawson community.”
